Keita Aono was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1975.
He spent his childhood in Zurich.
After returning to Japan, he lived in Fukuoka and then moved to Osaka to study architecture at Osaka University of Arts.
Keita joined NOMURA Co., Ltd., in 1999.
He established Aono’s room in Commercial Environmental Design department in 2013.
His design experience has extended from retail facilities and restaurants to a chapel and guest rooms in a hotel and commercial and tourism facilities.
His design fuses eastern and western ideas, reflecting cosmopolitan childhood experiences, and has earned domestic and international recognition.
He started collaborating with Oki Sato at Nendo in 2014 and helped establish an alliance in 2016.
He established no.10 in 2020.
