This reading light was jointly developed with Toki Corporation, a lighting manufacturer.  As reading lights are often accidentally damaged through unintended movements, we designed this product with the aim of making it hard to break.  It fits snugly away when not in use, and its ability to easily swing out when pressed mitigates any damage that could be caused by external pressure applied when in use.  Though small in size (4 square centimeters), it turns on automatically when pressed, and the lighting direction can be easily adjusted by simply pinching and rotating it. When not in use, it fits neatly into the finished surface and can be used for a variety of applications, such as lighting in museums and showcases in stores.
