% Arabica, a coffee brand from Kyoto, has opened the very first shop in Thailand, at huge shopping mall “ICON SIAM” in SIAM area of Bangkok.When we first visited the site, we were impressed with the unique location of the shop that protruded to the atrium and was open in all directions without any wall. Our initial idea was to design the space making the best of the characteristics of this unique location.The shop is surrounded with beans cellars containing linen sacks that represents % Arabica brand appealing to customers in all directions. In addition, the luminous floor and the overall mirror ceiling reflecting the floor, have been installed to attract customers who are on other floors.
